Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

a. Personal Information

We do not collect personal information unless you voluntarily choose to provide it—for instance, when contacting our maintainers via email or submitting resource feedback.

b. Non-Personal & Technical Information

Like most websites, our hosting servers and analytics tools may automatically record standard technical data, including:

• Browser type and version
• Operating system and device screen resolution
• IP address and approximate geographic region
• Pages viewed, referral URLs, and duration per visit

2. How We Use Information

• To maintain, optimize, and improve study material accessibility for engineering students.
• To diagnose technical errors, broken Google Drive links, and server latency.
• To protect the website against abuse, spam, and security vulnerabilities.

3. Cookies and Advertising

RTU Notes integrates Google AdSense to sustain free hosting and domain expenses. Google AdSense and third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

4. Third-Party Services & External Links

Our website provides direct links to educational resources hosted on third-party cloud platforms (such as Google Drive). We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices or data policies of external sites.

5. Data Security

We enforce secure HTTPS encryption across all pages. While no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% impenetrable, we employ standard security configurations to safeguard access.
